Opinion: APROO Rose Gold

Need help in adding another watch to the collection. I’m considering adding the new APROO rose gold rendition of the original beast. For the price of $88k, is this a wise move. I like the design but not sure if it’s too bling. I have a APRO, sports Rolex and VCO in my collection, all SS. I’m considering adding a rose gold. Your valuable guidance is appreciated.

I have the version in steel...love the blue but it's definitely my thickest and heaviest watch..would imagine the rose gold being even heavier..have sport Rolex and VCO like you and the Beast is definitely unique!

Well, subtle it is not. What is your threshold for "too bling"? It's more Arancio Atlas Lambo than Rosso Corsa Ferrari.

Have you looked at the 27420ro? It is amazing (attached).

I also have the beast in steel, ended up putting it on rubber strap. The rose gold version is about 660 grams and a real brick. Name: 20220217_194409.jpg

Incredible watch, especially if you don't mind the heft of it. ROOs on rubber straps look like little toys in comparison

The amount of quality finishing you get for $88k is pretty unparalleled. If you have half a chance, get it

it's not as bling as a rose gold ROC because of the rounded edges. It's heavy as a brick tho. If you want to train up your left arm, it's the watch to wear

I’d get it, with the new quick switch strap, the bling is optional and it wears a bit more under the radar on rubber

I dig it and have the 26470pt which weighs a ton. Think the dial you linked to is cleaner.

Very nice dial color. That blue radiates beautiful hue. The weight is not as much as a concern. I was more concern whether it would too ‘in your face’. I think it may work as a cool weekend watch; not for suit and tie days.

I agree that the strap system provides options for those days I may want a more subdued look.

Definitely not a suit and tie watch, completely agree. The platinum is brushed so for what it is, it wears discreetly. Seems to be two schools of thought on wearing a full rg or yg reference 1 - it is bold and will attract attention and 2 - in a world full of Michael Kors watches etc, it’s no big deal and only a watch person would ever really notice.

I'd go for this ROO, the RO bracelet in gold is sleek and luxurious but the ROO's is a bit too beefy for my taste.
