Which 36mm Date Just would you pick?
Happy Friday, I’ve really become a fan of 36mm watches after getting the new Explorer(s). I’ve been on the hunt for a polar Explorer II, but I’m thinking that might be a bit too large. I’m now thinking I’d like to add a white dial 36mm Date Just with jubilee bracelet and fluted bezel. Which DJ would you add to my Explorers and why? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I like them all.
I do have a stainless DJ on jubilee with silver dial, and a Everose two tone DJ with sundust dial. Of those two, I do prefer the Everose. It just looks and feels a little more special. Its a bit heavier too. But honestly, any of those three would be great choices. The yellow gold two tone DJ is a true Rolex icon. |

I like them all as well! I do wonder however if the rose gold color would look too faded/washed out with your skin tone.

RG gives off more of a platinum look in direct sunlight. Indoors it looks a bit more like gold with a bit of copper mixed in. Below are indoor photos.

In addition to my RG TT DJ, here is my white Roman DJ. Not really the same spec you are looking for, but the white Roman dial is a great choice.

Great point….that’s the only one I’ve not seen in person. The Root Beer GMT almost looks like steel on my wrist. I’ll need to see it in person for sure! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

It’s a hard choice, as I would like to have all 3 of them. I’ve ordered the white Roman dial in January. I love the YG white stick dial too, but for the RG I prefer the grey dial.

Agreed! It's so hard and I love them all. I'm really no closer to deciding. The nice thing is these are watches I can actually see in person. I tried on the TT yellow gold recently and man did it put a smile on my face. The hunt and the conversation is fun for me though. I'd like to get one of these in 2022.

MJ: As you might recall, I recently got the YG/White/Sticks. All things are personal preference, of course. I prefer the overall iconic look, the warmth of YG, the crispness of the white dial and the luminosity the stick markers offer. Good luck! :)

I remember it well Ron! Your pictures of it certainly contributed to my want for a Date Just. Is it your daily wearer?

I don't like two tone so I would go upper left corner, white dial with Romans. Very classy looking.

White Roman. Or silver if it was listed. Not TT.

Favorite there is stainless/white dial. YG TT is an absolute icon. RG TT is the most different from your Explorers, but I like silver dial better on that one.
You really should also consider OP36 with silver dial. |

Stainless WG bezel Datejust. Prefer sticks to Romans.

This. I never got a TT before but if I’ll ever do it will be a Rose Gold so I vote the RG as a second choice. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
