My first Rolex - so excited!
Back in January I was at the mall with my family and while my wife was shopping for clothes I took my boys and popped in the Rolex store. I have been dreaming of a Rolex for over a decade but only recently started seriously thinking about purchasing one. After being introduced to a very friendly sales associate and being informed that all the watches in the case were non-working demo units high told him that I was interested in an explorer or a Batman, tried both of those miles on and realized that they were not for me, fast forward about 15 minutes and I found my Rolex a submariner.
He explained the shortage and offered to build a profile for me in their system expressing my interest in a sub. 37 days later on March 1 and I get a phone call as I’m pulling in my driveway, it’s my sales associate telling me he had a Submariner with my name on it when can I come up to the store! I was very excited, and within a few hours I found myself in the Rolex boutique taking delivery of my very first Rolex! I feel very fortunate and blessed that it happened so fast. |
