$14,700 Sub Price on Rolex.Com today
Caught a mistake on Rolex.Com this morning! Pretty sure it’s fixed already, but imagine that becoming retail for the sub! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yikes. That's the price of the two tone Sub. Maybe things got mixed up. We wouldn't see that kind of price jump.

I just went to the site to see if it had been changed, and all the way through the configuration the price was showing as $14,700 but at the very end it changed.

OP, this is like airlines dynamic pricing system where they discriminate with higher prices against target customers! That is your price. Everyone else gets the lower price. More seriously though, at the rate Chanel and Hermes have been bumping up prices, it wouldn't be a far stretch of the imagination that we will be at that retail price within 3-5 years.
I bet Rolex has to pay fuel surcharge for deliveries soon! |

Could be the website preparing the pages for the new reference.
Maybe a titanium sub or the new Sea Dweller. Omega just released their new Ultra Deep lineup. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Rolex kept step and released a new diver this year. I could see titanium sea dweller or deep sea on rubber for $14,700. This is the time we’ll start seeing leaks and things on new references so keep your eyes peeled

I've seen a few quirks with their watch configurator where the prices didn't refresh when you made configuration changes using it on your phone.
Here's the reverse situation. |

This. I’ve noticed it for a while now and if you change selection on watches the price update is lagging.

That is very likely the cause of the first screenshot in the thread. Web servers present us with the page we see, but an error between them and the database server can happen. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

Who cares… I’ll gladly pay more if the models actually were more available.

Perhaps the Rolex site was hacked by a grey dealer. If Rolex would do this to all their watches, perhaps it wouldn't be so profitable for greys, and the average person could walk into an AD and actually buy one.

I’ve seen this happen numerous times for different models. You switch between two tone and steel and the prices sometimes stays the same. It’s a bug I guess on their website. If you reload and go back if adjusts to the right price
