Two tónes 36mm explorer !
Anyone here have one? and What do you think about it ?
My AD said it is a little bit easier to get one retail in 2 tones (because mostly demand it steel explorer) |

As a huge 36mm exp fan, I sold my 39mm to a friend and acquired both the 124270 and 124273. 124273 is awesome in the metal. The gold is more subtle than some pics appear. Check out the Bark and Jack youtube review of the 124273. I'd highly recommend it. IMO it was the best Rolex release of 2021. It was my gateway into TT watches, which I never thought I'd like.

It looks great in-person, and as another mentioned, the yellow gold seems much more muted than in photos. The only drawback for me was the ability to fit it into daily life. I’m not a flashy guy, and found the combo of stainless and yellow gold to be hard to pull off on all occasions. Pure conjecture, but believe the 124273 would be a great addition to an existing collection, but harder to pull off as a one-and-only. |

I also had one but could not get accustomed to the size. I got excited at the AD and snapped it up thinking I would like it but didn’t over time. Like the previous reply, fitting it into daily rotation was difficult.

I’ve heard the same thing.. but I would pick what you actually want. Rather than compromise.
Personally not the biggest fan of two tone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

The gold can disappear at times and it can really pop at times. The biggest thing for me is the warmth of the dial with the yellow gold indicees on the glossy black dial. It's easily the best watch I've ever owned and I can't recommend it/them highly enough. |

I like the aesthetics of the two tone. It adds a flare of glamour and style that I really enjoy.
Only annoyance for me, is the clasp feels a lot more obstructive than my 36 op. |

I love mine. It agree, it probably works better in a collection, but honestly, it can be a one and done as well, if you like rocking a little gold everyday! The last photo is of my Rolesor on the left with my friend's SS Explorer on the right. Good luck!

I think the TT Explorer looks great and its the most under the radar tt. The TT Explorer is classy without being flashy!

I loved mine but did end up selling it after a while thinking I wasn’t going to rotate it. Now I miss it but I won’t pay over retail for it.
If rolex ever released a full gold Explorer I’d be all over it |

Full gold would be the only reason I would ever move off of my two tone.

I love mine. Although within my collection of Rolex, it's #3 on the list, #1 Batman, #2 SD43, #3 TT Explorer

I have a vintage TT Explorer and I love it. I don't find it overly flashy but I do notice it gets more looks than my SS watches.
