Daytona and Sub41 size comparison pics.
I have read so many ideas on what the size of both the new Sub41 and the Daytona is, I took a few quick comparison pics side by side. Obviously you are not ever going to be able to try on these two watches on together at a AD so I think some might find their sizes are not as extreme as some may believe.

You can try on those watches at most dealers since they have the exhibition models. Might be different configuration but they are there.

wrist presence, the sub 41 feels WAY bigger. it's the wider lugs.

But at the same time those who say Daytona is for women are being swayed but the busier dial not the footprint. Looks like a true 40 to me.

Nice shots as usual Mystro.
If you put the Sub in the foreground as in your first picture it will look larger than the Daytona. That said, the Sub wears considerably larger to me. It’s one reason why I passed on the Daytona in 2016. That and I have difficulty with it’s legibility. To each their own, two awesome references |

It’s always amazing to me how the white Daytona always appears larger than it is.

I own both as well and I think the pics (which are great btw) make the Daytona look bigger than it wears. I have an older white gold Daytona though so not this exact model. I know there are subtle differences in the sizing.
If anyones wrist was bigger than say 7.5inches I would go sub. That means the Daytona wears fine on 90% of the population. It is the legibility of it that’s a bigger problem for me. Thanks for sharing the shots. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
