<<< incoming ... again >>>

Well I know what you're all going to say ... that Brian, nice guy but he's a walking contradiction...

He said it was uncomfortable and he couldn't get the perfect fit due to the caseback design. He had to sell it; it became unbearable ... blah blah blah.

Yes it's true, I did say that but I also sang its praises which are many and in my mind they outweigh the fit issue.

Anyway, when the chance came to buy back my original, I pounced. I'm sentimental and besides I already convinced myself that I needed another rotation watch

Its not like I'm the only one on TRF to go back to same well right?

So here she is ... my May 4, 2017 S43, back on my wrist. I missed you!

Now someone shoot me if I ever complain about the caseback comfort

Congratulations! Nice to go back to it, and I remember you saying an old Sea-Dweller was also your first watch, so there’s a great personal history here. I think this one might be my favourite Rolex.

<<< incoming ... again >>>

Homecoming!

I wouldn't pass one up myself again. Wore one the day my son was born and experienced similar annoyance however it is a beautiful and bad ass watch. The Mariner.

Congrats!

Thanks Brad it was naming at me every time I’d see them here on TRF. I kind of knew this might happen, but getting mine original back is the icing

Congrats!

Congrats Brian! Having taken a 360 turn means you can feel certain the things you enjoy about it more than outweigh any drawbacks. The bonus is you were able to buy your original piece back! Wear it in great health.
