Incoming

Got the call yesterday and picked up same day. Wonderful experience. The dial pops so much in person and sits very balanced on the wrist. so thankful for this pick up.

It’s almost hard to believe these exist for sale in the wild.

Huge Congrats, that is such a stunning piece. I, like many, dream of the day I get the call.

I too would like to hear the story behind the purchase and pursuit. My AD, whom I purchased the Batman from last year, told me it would take 10 years for me to get one.

Honestly I think it's a combination of many things. I did not have a huge prior purchase history. I actually bought only one other piece from them which was a gmt. I really appreciated the way they did business and I let them know that. They never led anyone on about lists or anything. And everyone was super nice, a rarity now-a-days when some places make you feel like they're the ones doing you a favor. So as time passed I would pop in to say hi and follow up. The mistake I made was checking in too much at one point when they said they get deliveries towards the end of the week. I backed off when I got the vibe I was pissing them off. After that I just trusted the system as I wasn't willing to pay over msrp anyway and was willing to wait. The whole process took about 6 months. Long story short not all dealers are equal. Find one that's honest, don't be a jerk and be as patient as you can. I feel like my collection is complete for now with the sub date, blnr, rose chocolate daytona and this one. That is until the 2022 releases come out...It's a slippery slope

The blnr was super random. I brought in a non rolex watch for service. When the watch came back after being away for a few months I was not happy with it and they sent it back. They could tell I was disappointed with the experience and at the time I expressed interest in the gmt. It seemed like they really were trying to make it up to me and they offered the blnr. I can't really say it was directly related but it all happened around the same time. Sorry it's not really something you can pull advice from but thats how it went down.
