My wife’s datejust back from RSC Dallas

Turn around time was very fast even though I fail to remember exactly when I shipped it to them. It was under warranty and keeping horrible time. I’m sure it’s regulated great now, but I was hoping for a complimentary polish, but no such luck. It seems they could have thrown that in.

They only polish during major services unless you specially ask.

Amongst other reasons why they don't do it, "throwing in" a polish with every warranty intervention would delay the process for both warranty jobs and invoiced services.

She beats the ever living crap out of her watches so I had my fingers crossed they would have pity on it.

Lucky it wasn't deemed accidental damage, and charged as a service then

If they polished it without you asking, then they will get all kinds of horrible hate posts from the anti-polishing crowd here on TRF who consider any kind of polishing to "ruin" the watch.

Is your wife related to mine?

How do they do it?

Agreed
I probably would've knocked it back, but then again I can be a hard SOB.

I meant it figuratively. Not that she actually uses it as a hammer or such.
