There is a war with thousand of people dead, and millions who have lost their homes.

If a luxury watch is in you mind, you are not right in the head.

Being interested in watches as an enthusiast and being concerned for the well being of humans are not mutually exclusive items…

Where was this line of thinking when Syria was under siege, what about Yemen? Many other places also. I’m concerned about all of this, in addition to Ukraine. Doesn’t mean I will stop enjoying watches either though.

The idea that someone can’t enjoy something and also have empathy is about the most intellectually vacant and idiotic trend of the past few years.

Please keep your virtue to yourself, nobody wants to hear it.

This is a watch forum to discuss watches and everything about them.

Thank you.

The media won't tell you this, but there are about 50 wars/conflicts taking place at any given time.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_o...rmed_conflicts

It should give us pause - but not because the media tells us so.

In before the lock...

Russia is a very upside down country, lots of people but very small GDP per capita, the oligarchs make it look like a rich country but it's not.

Average wage is $600 a month as an example you're not building a big luxury watch business on that.

Clearly what's going on in Ukraine is difficult to watch...

I certainly applaud Rolex as well as the Swatch Group and Richemont in halting all exports to Russia.

However, it is a legitimate watch question to curiously ponder if this could translate to additional pieces allocated globally. I seriously doubt that it would even make a noticeable dent, but it's fair to speculate whilst still being sensitive to the much bigger picture.
