IWC price increase coming?

Did IWC already announce a price increase for this year? If not, do they usually happen during Watches and Wonders?

Yes, April 1st and that's for most Richemont brands.

IWC price increase coming?

Bump - anyone hear anything?

I was told prices may go up September 1 but not sure how accurate this is.

I was looking at getting a big pilot in September but would pull the trigger now to avoid the increase.

Vacheron received a price increase recently, so wouldn't surprise me seeing IWC are owned by Richemont. A 3-10% rise was recorded across different models.

Yeah, I was told could be 10% on the BP but a raise in September seems random…

I'm from Canada, and I know 100% IWC already had a price increase in 2022. I can't remember exactly when, but probably around the time of W&W in April. It was a very modest increase ... for example, the BP43 on leather strap went from C$10,800 to C$11,100.

Also in Canada but yeah I see now the IW377717 went up by a bit.

Curious if there is more coming or this guy who said it will go up Sep 1 may be just wrong

Helpful - thanks.

Did it list what models or what the increases would be?

Two raises in one year seems wild...

On IWCs, unless they are limited editions, I would wait and buy on the secondary markets, unless the AD is willing to cut you a discount, and you like things brand new and fresh.

I'm not understanding their pricing strategy. Most increases are in the 2%-7% range however, the 41mm Spitfire Chrono has gone from $6150 to $7400... a 20% increase. Any interest I had in getting one just disappeared. The MKXVIII line had no increase, presumably because they are being phased out in favor of the new MKXX line.

Quick update, I can't believe it but pricing did change in the last week. I was interested in the blue dial Pilot's Chrono 41 IW388101 on leather. It went from $8600CAD to $9800CAD. Yikes! That's a 14% increase and definitely took the value proposition out from that reference.
