Explorer 2 16570 Help!

I tried to upload the photos, but I couldn’t get it to work.. my buddy just got this on auction and I told him I’d ask the experts to assuage his doubts.. or confirm them haha.

Does this look real? I thought the crown with triplock and date wheel look suspect. Why do y’all think?

I think that you are correct about the date wheel and the triplock, which the 16570 did not come with.

There are many more indications though.

If his suspicions are that it is not authentic, he wins

If it was bought at auction take it up with them. He should get his money back.

Fake. The date and the overall quality. If he got it from reputable auction house then most like he can get the money back.

really? If your Internet has photos on it, it shouldn't take you more than 30 secs to spot a whole bunch of unlikleyness going on with this watch.

I'm dying to know how much the hammer price was for this..... I'm guessing mid tens ? $24 ish ?
