DavidSW (my Experience)

I have been emailing David for a few days about selling my watch and told him how much I wanted. As typically all buyers say they're sending a shipping ticket and ship it to them and you all know the rest. I checked out their about me page just to get a little information for myself.

I have trust issues, with everybody so I decided to drive to Orlando and do a face-to-face with David. (9hr drive & some change) just to get there.

I had everything a Rolex buyer would want a seller to have.

From the receipt to the Rolex box that contains everything a Rolex comes with when it's brand new.

When I got there, they have a beautiful showroom and two very nice gentleman to assist and also a huge, strapping and kind security officer that will accommodate you if you decide to get mischievous I'm sure.

I handed my watch to the assistance and told him I was talking with David via email, he put everything on a tray and carried it in the back to do his thing which I had no worries about at all even with my trust issues at the moment and that's when I first saw David, I couldn't believe how tall he was, this man must be 6’7 6’8” tall. From his about me page I only saw the individual pictures and it shows him from the waist up there about so I wasn't expecting to talk to a giant.

He introduced himself and he knew who he was talking to from the pictures and descriptions I sent in the email conversations. He said how do you want it? Check or wired. No haggling which I expected to happen.

The point I'm trying to make here people is that if you have trust issues and deal with DavidSW there are no issues. If you're dealing with David SW and you have problems I guarantee that you are the problem.

This is my first dealings with DavidSW and if I ever deal with him again I have my full 100% trust in David and his business. I definitely will not be making a trip to Orlando again unless I want to look at some beautiful jewelry and watches in the real.

From the time I walked in until the time he asked me how I wanted payment took about four minutes. Incredible, none of the other BS buyers usually give you, absolutely straightforward professional.

I've also Converse with other buyers that are forum supporters here and their offer was just ridiculously low.

DavidSW was the only buyer that did not give me a feel of lowballing me as if I was a crackhead. David emailed me the invoice from the wire transfer as I was waiting in the show room, the funds were in my account in about 15 minutes.

I'd like to thank David and his associates and also the Hulk at the front door for making this such a relaxing and trouble free transaction.

Great story. Thanks for sharing.

Did you break even after paying for the gas to get there and back?

Agreed 100% on the total trust in David. I have bought two and sold two through him and felt I was treated very well on every deal.

From the time I bought the watch retail (2018) until the time I sold it, I wore the watch daily and I made over $6000, so yes to your answer

I’ve sold numerous watches to David from afar and couldn’t be more pleased.

Next time I travel to Florida, I will surely visit his shop in person.

Ridiculous, there's always one in a crowd.

And you don't own a Rolex so why would anybody take you seriously.

Thanks for sharing your experience. David does business right and is a good guy! He welcomed a small group of TRF people in his Florida store several years back and was very kind. He provided hors d'oeuvre, drinks and let us see as well as try on any watch we wanted to. Total Class Act!

Pretty bold statement.

Anyway, I would not hesitate to do a deal with DSW, whether it is a buy or sell.

I've had many dealing with DavidSW, both buying and selling. I enjoyed the experience everytime but I don't enjoy it enough to even drive 3 hours if I lived that close. That's why they invented the pony express.

You're not the only one that made that drive! I live around the Macon, GA area and I drove down about a year ago to make my first transaction with David. It was rough. I drove all day then all night, lol. I would say my situation was almost identical to yours. The only difference was that I was the buyer. I also felt like I just had to have a face to face transaction since it was all new to me, but I will most certainly be placing an order online if I end up doing business with them again. Needless to say, I highly recommend this vendor. They exude pure professionalism from top to bottom!

lol, “Rough” I agree it sure was, 18 hours both ways. I remember seeing the sign to “Macon” on the way home.”

I also like to say thank you to all those that replied.

Is there anybody people would trust like David other than a legit AD? Just curious because the service there is even better than most or all ADs!
