Didn’t know this was a thing!
Looked back at a few threads about completing land, air and sea. I guess I inadvertently completed the collection with my most recent purchase too. I am constantly nerding out with this hobby. This forum is absolutely amazing. It’s always great to share hobbies and joy with others who appreciate it too. My wife recently pointed out that I got excited like a little kid when I got “the call” .
Each of my pieces has its own personal milestone/significant life event associated with it, and I appreciate each watch for different reasons. Maybe I’ll get into that in a future thread, but figured I’d post some pictures for now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Very nice.
Please, tell your stories. They are much more interesting than most of the common threads about the state of the hobby/industry. |

Nice collection, just add a Speedmaster Pro and you can add space to that list.

I do like the GMTs. I did also read somewhere that it us not good to use winders, as they wear out your watch movement prematurely. But many with a decent collection does anyway, as they don't know this, don't care or don't really believe it!

I am curious how to you justify spending money on Shinola when you have such an epic collection?
Do you live in Detroit and is this some sort of Michigander pride? |

I went to school in Detroit, right down the street from the main Shinola store. So I guess. But i don’t mind spending or having cheaper watches in my collection. I love my shinola, I just wish it was automatic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ha it was accidental but you got me curious. What are the space models you speak of?! I’d love to add a PM model at some point. Not sure which one yet though. Sky Dweller would be amazing, DD, or something with a meteorite dial….. this rabbit hole Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Great and functional collection, congrats!
I think it’s better to focus on function (chrono, diver, GMT, simple 3-hander, dress) rather than some arbitrary location where most used. That way, you aren’t wondering is Explorer II land or air, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
