Incoming - first post

I’ve been lurking for a while and finally have something to contribute. Started collecting this year and found out quickly that it was a tough time to get into luxury watches with limited supply. Started with a black bay and then an Omega Seamaster 300M and was quickly hooked and knew I needed a Rolex. I decided I wanted to build a diversified collection as I honed in on my watch tastes. I found my nearest AD and purchased a beautiful Grand Seiko SGBA413 (incredible watch) I had my eye on. Followed that up with a Cartier Santos (ADLC two tone) just two days ago. AD noted my desire for a 126610LV.

I figured I was in for a wait and decided to focus on other brands for a while. This morning, two days after picking up the Santos, I got a text from my salesperson that she had something special for me. I still can’t believe it but she came through for me!

Snapped some phone pics on my way home:

Very nice! I did not love mine when I first got it but I started loving it very quickly once I started wearing it.

Interesting - is it because getting used to the green color? Just asking as I am waiting for mine.

The green is amazing and really pops. I was afraid I’d have to settle for the black when I really wanted the green so lucky it worked out.

They look fantastic, I love the contrast with the black dial.

Love to see a pic of the GS!
I don’t have pics handy of the GS and not sure I have the photography skills to do it justice. The dial somehow captures the light and glows - and you don’t pick up on the pink hue 90% of the time (Just comes across glowing silver). I’ve yet to see a picture that is a good representation. You also barely feel it on your wrist because of the titanium and the spring drive seconds hand is mesmerizing to see!

Not sure how people decide what to wear once they accumulate a number of great pieces.

Funny how some of us have similar tastes. I also have the same GS and Cartier. Very complimentary. Love the M as well! Enjoy it and congrats.
