Cartier Tank

There are so many versions of the classic Tank.

If I want to buy one with some level of historical significance, which ones should I look for?

I want the classic/original shape, manual wind, and a roman dial that is "beaded".

So far I have identified the WGTA0011 model. Does anyone know anything about this model? Are there others worth considering?

The WGTA0011 is the classic Tank LC. Cartier recently started releasing different versions of the manual wind Tank LC with 2 last year and 3 this year. The 2 releases last year were one shot releases and I'm guessing 2 out of the 3 released this year will also be one shot releases.

Other manual wind Tank worth considering is the Tank Cintree.

Thanks for the insight.

Does the Tank usually come with a deployant buckle or a normal tang buckle?

Tank Cintree, Must, and LC come with tang.

Tank Americaine and MC come with either or depending on the model.

Another question: I like the WGTA0011, however the "beaded" dial is only the smaller rectangle within the total dial rectange. Is there an older model that has the whole dial "beaded".

I think the beaded texture is called something called guiloche?

Looking for the model number so I can find one of the old classics.
