Beware of bitcoin scam in Midlands UK

Beware of bitcoin scam in the midlands he operates out of Leicester. He did approach me to buy a watch with bitcoin. I refused unfortunately, he found another victim who succumbed. These are pictures of Adam Parbat caught on cctv, he drives a dark blue astra.

Be careful out there!Name: Screenshot_20220421-081358_Facebook.jpg

It involves the use of blockchain.com as the place where the money is transferred into. The transaction is then reversed the seller is then left with no money no watch!!
I didnt to get involved in all of this, if they can pay in bitcoin they can get it transferred into cash.

Glad you avoided the scam.

Crypto is a hornet's nest in general. If anyone offers to buy something with Whatever-coin, best to tell them to transfer it into real currency first. The only reason to prefer crypto is if you're laundering the money.

and, given the current market, the the crypto might be worth a sizable chunk less by the time you've converted it into cash...
