Bracelet ID
The Jubilee bracelet for my steel Ref 16030 Rolex Datejust has the number 555 stamped on it (seephoto). I'm curious as to what this means.
By the way, I have had a rough time getting extra links installed - had one installed by a local shop in Portland, Oregon and it took them hours! Also, I suspect that they dd a poor job - the linkage is very stiff. On returing home (I liive in Kiev), the AD's watchmaker wouldn't order an extra link, claiming that because I don't have the original papers, he couldn't be certain what to order - and if he was wrong, I'd still have to pay for it! Anyway, I have a link being sent from US, but was curious about the number... Thanks! Last edited by ExpatUA; 29 June 2009 at 06:30 PM.. Reason: spelling |
