Bracelet ID
The Jubilee bracelet for my steel Ref 16030 Rolex Datejust has the number 555 stamped on it (seephoto). I'm curious as to what this means.
By the way, I have had a rough time getting extra links installed - had one installed by a local shop in Portland, Oregon and it took them hours! Also, I suspect that they dd a poor job - the linkage is very stiff. On returing home (I liive in Kiev), the AD's watchmaker wouldn't order an extra link, claiming that because I don't have the original papers, he couldn't be certain what to order - and if he was wrong, I'd still have to pay for it! just kidding,its actually the speed where it will fail..just kidding again.. its just a part number buddy..so they dont get them all mixed up at the factory.. |
