Rolex Sapphire Logo at 47-min. Mark Instead of 6 O’clock

I have SS Daytona and I just noticed that the Rolex logo that should normally be etched on the sapphire crystal at 6 o’clock is actually located at the 47-minute mark. Has anyone seen this before?

I suspect that might mean that the previous owner had the sapphire replaced, or otherwise tampered with. They did change the dial, I know that, but would the sapphire have to be removed in order to change the dial?

Any help solving this mystery would be highly appreciated!

From my experience, the watch maker wouldn’t need to remove the crystal from the case to change the dial, but the crystal may have moved while she was removing the movement and dial from the case, or she might have taken the crystal out of the case to clean it and then put in back in not thinking of the little invisible laser engraving. It would be a quick fix for a watch maker if it bothers you.

Quite possible even from factory especially on none date watches.
