Anniversary gift

I posted about 2 months ago about getting a first Rolex for my wife for our first anniversary. I asked about an Oyster Perpetual that was a smaller size for a female. I was given advice to see Thilo at the Rolex Boutique in Mission Valley. When I went they obviously did not have anything in stock. I told him that my anniversary was May 28th and I wanted to surprise her with it. Thilo checked in with me a few times these past 2 months but had nothing.

Today on very the day of our anniversary, Thilo told me that he had a Lady's Datejust 28 available. My wife is a new police officer and still in training so she initially did not have today off, but a last minute schedule change left her with the day off. This morning we made quick plans to go to dinner to celebrate and I got to surprise her with a quick detour to the Rolex Boutique.

I know the Datejust 28 is not a big deal to most here, but for me it is. I worked an extra day a week for the last three months to get her it, so it means a lot to both of us and she absolutely loves it.

We even got a pair of Blue Rolex ballcaps. Thilo said the blue was better for us since we are both Cops. lol

Congrats. I did that for my wife a couple of weeks ago as well. Such a good feeling to give something so special to the one you love. Cheers!
