Explorer II 16570 Strap Recommendation?

Hey All,

I just bought a nice unpolished near mint 16570 with black dial. I’m intending to wear it with a leather strap to make it even more unique to my small collection/rotation.

I’ve bought straps before from Amazon and they are usually too thin or too thick and not malleable.

Any recommendations on a top quality leather strap with a brushed steel buckle? Looking for a medium brown leather. Something very casual and utilitarian that would give it an OEM look/feel.

Bonus points for links or pics :)

Thanks!

I don’t have a 16570 but I have worn my Rolexes on leather straps for many years. I have and can recommend GLC Straps, Delugs and Veblenist. The issue with Rolex and leather strap is that the very sharp inner lugs destroy the strap’s edge. I found two solutions to that:
1) curve end bracelets
2) aftermarket endlinks (from SmartyEndlinks).

Here are a few pictures
Delugs curved alligator green strap

Something like the Tudor strap above would be nice, but I’d prefer leather.

The leather strap goes below the endlink and it’s how it stays in place.
