Have not seen any SBGE285 yet here, is that because its not released to butiques or noone is interested in this piece?

I think there’s plenty of interest. On chrono24 there looks to be a few for sale. Not sure if they’ve actually shipped yet though ..

It says ships in July on the website. So I'd imagine a few pre orders might start getting them soon. I doubt we'll see them in AD's for atleast another month.

It is now available to view in London, but only to sell from 1st August.
Initial thoughts, it is hard to tell as I think the London store is dark, watches aren't really popping, but my expectation was somewhat higher. I was more excited and was really looking forward to this being my first GS. I think the dial could have been a little whiter (or it is just because of the store), and I'd enjoy a bit more weight added to it... |

Walked into an AD in Italy last week while on vacation, and to my surprised it was available for purchase. After going back and forth with the rep for a bit about the specs he offered me 10% off (before the tax refund) since I'd mentioned it would be my first ever GS. I couldn't pass it up.
After a few days wearing it I only have two minor complaints: 1. No micro-adjustments on the bracelet, so finding the sweet spot when sizing can be a bit hard. However, once you've got that, it wears very very comfortable. 2. It's a bit harder than I thought to dress down given the shine of it. That hasn't kept me from wearing it anyway, yet. All that being said, it's hard to appreciate how beautiful this watch in with pictures alone. The dial is superb. The curved case is sleek. And the weight of the titanium makes it effortless to wear. |

I have one reserved. Hope I like it when it’s shipped. First time I’ve bought blind…

SBGE285 - I seeeeen it
My AD just got one in. The dial is a beauty, with a color changing from almost white in outside sun, to taupe or medium gray inside. Case size, proportion, and general "feel" are nearly perfect for me. One thing I did not expect is the high polish on the case and hour markers. I can't recall any titanium watch being this flashy in the light. That could be good or bad, depending on what you want, but I can understand doubts about wearing it as an everyday casual tool watch. Personally, I just wish the face was a few shades lighter, then it would be a no-brainer. The no micro-adjusting bracelet is also a concern at this price point. Still... very tempting.
Sorry about the crappy pic; I didn't take it. |

Got mine the other day but I don’t have enough posts to allow a photo. Too bad.
