Which Watches are on your radar these days?

While waiting for a polar Explorer II or Air-King, I picked up a Speedy Pro (hesalite) and absolutely loving it!

I’m still on the list for the Air-King and Explorer II. I’m hoping to get one this year. I’m also really interested in a Seiko SLA043 and a Black Bay Pro!

I’m not loving waiting on my next Rolex, but I’m really enjoying other brands of late.

Current collection

I’m currently waiting on 2 Rolex (OP36 Turquoise and BLNR Oyster) and 2 Omega (Silver Snoopy and Ed White 321). I suspect I’ll be waiting a while which is fine assuming they’re not quickly discontinued!

Your collection is refreshing with the absence of Sub/GMT/SD!

Baume et Mercier Clifton with 5 day power reserve.

Short term: BLNR. It is seemingly the most difficult reference to find via an AD. I've only seen the Oyster version once in real life, either at an AD or during my travels. Just saw a review from the initial release in 2013 and even back then it was not readily available, the grey markup was about 20%.

Looooooong term: Daytona (ha ha!)

Thank you! I like all of those references from afar, but I’ve always preferred the Explorer/Explorer II range. My brother wears a Submariner and it looks great, I just like other models more.

That Clifton looks awesome. I’ve never seen this one before!

Ahhhh, you're right-ish, tho Willy Wonka is no joke as without a doubt he's a truly brilliant man! If he was to wear a timepiece.....

I prefer the original movie, tho always enjoyed this scene too.

So, who is Willy Wonka the amazing chocolatier?

Ok, a bit dodgy in the middle but that finale, WOW!!!

I saw the copper dial in person recently. It is a damn good looking watch. I'm loving the new direction Breitling is going in. I was really torn between the new Navitimer and the Speedy Pro. The price difference was heavily in the Speedy's favor.

Although not much to alot of folks here, to a plain jane G-shock guy like me, a stainless sub date would be awesome. With the newer kermit being a grail watch.

I'll have to save for a few years, and probably finance it. It would probably be my only watch.

Waiting for Tudor to release a white dial Black Bay Pro somewhere along the lines of this quick and dirty photoshop (the hands and indices should be black but i was being lazy):

Just wanted to say I walked into an AD back in 2014 after a no date sub… and walked out with a BLNR… they had 2 in stock!

If I could find a deal on there 037 I'd be all about it. I prefer it over the 043, but not a couple grand more. Looks awesome man!
