Icon5 So I got a call from my local AD... (Decition time)

*Warning* This thread is just me moaning, if you do not mind then read on.

I`ve been a good boy lately, really I have! I`ve sold all my expensive watches except my LV. I`ve been feeling so sensible lately because of it, thinking that it`s good to have some money in the bank if anything would happen. Well anything happened of course (the elevator in my building broke down) and it`ll cost a nice little sum to get it replaced. No worries, I got money in hand...and then my AD called
She had gotten both the Daytona and the Milgauss GV, I was on the spot within seconds. My mind just went completely blank, all I could think of were these wonderfulle pieces of steel lying in front of me
The GV is just such a cool looking watch, much beefier than I imagined. The crystal emits a cool looking green light and the orange lighthing hand is just killer! The only thing is I think it sits a little high on my wrist, anyone else noticed this?
Then there`s the Daytona... It was my first time trying on one of these aswell, and it just fits my wrist so good. The only thing is it`s got the white dial wich I`m not to crazy about. She said she might be able to trade it for a black dial if I`m really interested.
So should I be interested? I know I should be sensible but I don`t know if I can do it
These are two grail watches and they are offered to me brand spanking new... How often does such a thing happen? Must be a sign right?
Sorry for the rant, but I just had to vent! My mind is still boiling

Been taking the stairs for a month now and I live on the top floor! If it hadn`t been for all the beer I would`ve been in great shape by now

As for the money, well Im just your average Joe sallary wise, and a Rolex is a HUGE investment, so I need to be sure about this.
Oh, why did I ever join a watch forum

Ram you have a tough decision on your hands today. At least you have both of your grial watches to choose from.

Keep in mind that the demand/supply ratio for GVs seems to be falling right now. I mean, maybe you shouldn't take rarity into account when making the decision, as the watch seems to become more common.

I would forget about the long term supply and demand issues. Many people get hung up on this and choose a watch based on it which leads to regret later

buy the watch which looks good in your eyes and when you look at your wrist makes you smile.

Take the stairs and time yourself with your new Daytona.

It really sucks not having an "edit" button, i see now that in my excitement I`ve mispelled decision and probably alot of other words aswell
Well I`ve been thinking and crunching numbers since I`ve posted this and although both are within reach I think the only sane thing to do is to go for one of them and not both as I deliriously thought of at first.
I`ll ask if she can trade the white dialed Daytona for a black one tomorrow, it was the one that made me smile the most and the fit was better than the GV. The GV is really quite chunky for it`s size and having small wrists it just doesen`t look as good. Don`t get me wrong though, I like it but just not as much as the Daytona. Pitty though, since the Daytona is just THAT much more expensive
Thanks for all the good advice guys and for letting me vent my frustrations

I think a blk dial ss daytona would be an awesome new friend for the LV. Wish I can come across one in the near future. Would be happy with a white dial also.

As for the GV case. I didn't find it too big or tall. I don't think I have an above average wrist and it sat quite well and comfortable on my wrist. I didn't notice the additional weight over the LV to be honest.
