26240ST 50th……how long will it be in production?
Hi all, apologies if this has been talked about, I don’t hawk the AP forum.
So I’ve been waffling on a full gold Daytona vs a steel AP ROC for a while, and was blown away when I finally saw the new ROC in person. Not to mention it’s technically a few grand cheaper.. My question…is there a set time frame AP usually has for releases like this? As in, how long before they switch out the rotor and just make it a ‘normal’ release? Despite me wanting the least popular colorway in silver, it’s still (obviously) pretty hard to obtain. Figured when it’s a non-LE type piece it will be easier. Any info would be great! |

I think the model itself will be around for another 4 years just without the 50th rotar, but collectibility aside, I think regular rotor looks better both for color contrast and style.
Good luck! |

I thought that the matching color rotors was an ongoing thing and not just for the 50th anni

Yeah I love the watch and everything about it. Symmetric sub dials, fully in house, removal of AP, everything is perfect to me finally on this watch, just had the years long conundrum of if I should go full go Daytona or this. Saw it in person and was sold!
