Which WG to keep

Hey all - like many of us on this forum, I got addicted to watches big time in 2020 and 2021. I picked up anything cool - IWC perpetual calendars, Breitling Chrono, and lots of Rolex.

Now realizing I just can't wear it all, I'm trying to downsize - and I know I need to move one of my PM Rolex.

Any thoughts on which one I should move - the WG Pepsi or the WG Sub?

(personal note, PM is AWESOME. It's a whole different feel from the SS Subs and GMT's that we all have).

Thanks as always....

I'd keep that BLRO. You should keep the one you want the most.

If it were me, I’d keep the BLRO.

I’d like the Submariner more if it were still white gold and had a black bezel.

I have to admit, I'm kind of obsessed with the blue bezel of the WG sub. The BLRO is bore desired of course, but there's something about the Sub....

If it was Smurf vs Pepsi I would've chose Smurf as the keeper, but in this case I may go with Pepsi as the keeper.

As much as I think the Pepsi bezel is too pink/purple, I’d keep that over the Cookie Monster because I don’t like a bezel and dial combo with nothing that matches (CM all black dial and all blue bezel)

I’d keep the GMT feels like the more rare model with the blue dial. Would have said Sub if it was the OG Smurf. I tried on a new WG Sub last week and it didn’t speak to me.

Here's a better pic.. you can see them both.

I think my problem with the BLRO is that the blue dial is so different from the blue bezel. What were they thinking?

The blue bezel and black dial from the sub is so cool...

Since the BLRO can be repurchased, in, you know…..steel, that would be the one I would let go. Plus, the WG sub is a badass all by itself.

I think you've mentioned it a few times now about how you like the Sub and that should be your keeper :).

Having said that, I'm partial to the BLRO since I own one. The different dial blue is actually my favorite.

That WG sub is the ultimate PM Rolex sports watch for me. I want a BLRO someday, but the stainless steel variety will satisfy that craving just fine IMO…

This, but do you have to let one of these go OP? Can you let go of something else in your collection and keep both of these beauties.
