The price tag of the Ultimate Rolex collection

If you were to buy all rolex models, one of each, how much would it cost?

Harder question, if you bought all combinations of each models, how much would that cost?

Does this include the same dial Rolex but with different bezels? It could add up fast as the DJ36 has numerous bezel and bracelet combos for each dial (fluted, smooth and different diamond ones).

A better question: if you added up all the required waitlist times, would your collection be complete before or after the sun swallows the earth?

Get on the configurator and see. So many combinations, I think you should limit yourself to the least expensive version of every current model and put it all on a spreadsheet.

It's an interesting question, but you're going to have to do the work.

Have to agree but many today think of Rolex watches as little more than £$€ objects, once they were watches bought to be worn and enjoyed.

Better question: What would be the cost of buying every single SS sports model Rolex you can currently walk in to an AD and buy at MSRP?

Answer: $0

Better question, how many lifetimes would it take for a regular schmuck to make it through the waiting lists

My gut says if you walked in an AD and said “I’ll take one of everything.” Then slapped a pile on the barrel head, you probably just bypassed the lists.

I’d have to be extremely bored to do this, but you can log into the website and start compiling that info.

Put the reference #, description and price for each in a spreadsheet, then add it all up. I have no idea how long it would take, but start with the classics and work your way up through the professional line.

Instead of having someone else do the leg work and figuring it out you can try it yourself by going to Rolex’ main page and using their configuration, which tells you current msrp at whichever currency you’re on, and adding all that up. I would imagine it would take quite sometime in which I wish I had but I don’t. Good luck
