FS: Omega Geneve Dynamic 166.039 14K Goldcapped + Papers Rare
Hi all!
Here is for sale a rare vintage Omega Geneve Dynamic 166.039 ( 166.0039 ) from 1970s. For sale is watch with papers. Watch is in very good condition for its age. Case has an uncommon elliptical shape and is made from stainless steel gold capped with 14K gold, has 42mm, thickness is 10.7 mm. Case is specific for Dynamic models and it is solid, so movement can be seen after taking off crystal and dial. This is a pretty rare iteration of Geneve Dynamic, having a 14K gold capped case in very good condition with still intact factory brushing. Caseback is solid with main case and has “Tool 107 Waterproof” inscription and sharp factory brushing and sharp edges. Crown is gold toned, Omega logo is still visible. Crystal is acrylic and has no blemishes, you can easily spot Omega logo engraved in center. Movement is automatic 24 Jewels Omega cal. 565 which means this is the first generation of Dynamic 1 cases. According to papers – watch was sold in 1976, according to serial number 30 mil - watch was made in 1970. Movement at the moment runs –14 sec/day. Movement is recently serviced. Please check timegrapher pic in gallery. Dial is perfect! This one is goldtoned sunburst with grey inner circle, these dials are called “bulls eye” due to their specific appearance and this on is rare met. Dials has painted black Omega logo, Automatic, Geneve Dynamic inscriptions, font has specific to this reference serifs. Date window is at 3 o’clock. Hour markers are white colored sticks with tritium lume, which still glows perfect under UV-light, please check pics in gallery. Handset is beautiful here, hour and minute hand are goldtoned with tritium lume matching the lume’s color on hour markers. Second hand is white, matching the hourmarkes. Strap is brand new aftermarket leather strap with perforations. This watch looks perfect due to uncommon 70s elliptical case shape and great looking gold and grey colored dial. This one is pretty rare and comes with papers dated to 6/5/1976 when watch was bought in G.Pechoux Watches and Jewellery shop in Paris. Price is $990 through PayPal Friends and Family, G&S is on buyer’s cost. Standard International Shipping is included in price. I ship international. I’ve sold a couple watches here, so you can check my feedback here. I am not interested in trades. Please PM me if you have any questions |
