Posting a picture

Just bought a watch from Cali Jewlers and I may have been scammed. The watch was supposed to be lightly worn and perfect but it is missing links and has a halo over the Rolex crown on the clasp. What is this? Please see photo. Is this a fake clasp/bracelet/ watch?

I'm no expert but I have not seen that on any of my watches. That doesn't mean I am correct but just letting you know that.

Looks fake.

Looks like an OP and Rolex laser etch the crown which is indented on those, but it is beautifully precise under mag. This isn't. Its a dogs dinner.

Thanks everyone for all the help. And you were right, I looked up I didn’t see it. I am somewhat embarrassed to say that there still was the plastic cover on the section with the crown is why it looked like that. I am in Wisconsin visiting and went to Glinberg Jewlers, Harry was very nice but was unsure why it looked like that. He sent me to Treiber & Straub and Lisa, who was also very nice, said hey I think there is some plastic wrap on it and proceeded to remove it ( though it was not easy)!

Just a long overdue follow up. The watch is real, it was worn a bit more then I thought it should be for what Henry at Cali jewelers told me but that may have been a misunderstanding between Henry and I. He did make it up to me and paid for me to get a new bracelet. So in the end I think Henry is a decent fellow and will stand by his products.
