Why not both…?

Just picked up a BLNR after a short wait from my ad. I prefer the jubilee personally, but it was offered on oyster so that’s what I’ve got !

My sa told me that I can order jubilee with an oyster model ( but not the other way around which is strange) so my question is - would you spend the cash on the second braclet?

I’ve got a jubilee on my datejust and I love it , but the oyster is very comfortable. Other option is just to get the polished center links brushed and call it a day !

I spent the money on the Oyster when mine came on the Jubilee. I sized the jubilee for my wife and the Oyster for me. 2 watches in one and 2 different people get to enjoy it.

Yes, congrats on getting the Oyster and order the Jubilee bracelet. Doing that with AD for the SkyD Jubilee bracelet.

Plus both bracelets is always the right answer

Get the super jubilee bracelet, no ugly clasp ruining the look. Reference number is 63600 (they had them on the older datejusts)

I would not do this.

First a second bracelet is not cheap. Second, how often will you change them? Can you change them without scratching anything?

I would rather put the money towards another watch but that is just me.

You are correct, it’s sometimes a chore to switch!

I have both for a datejust and I don’t switch very often!

Do you have any idea if Sky Dweller Oysterflex bracelet would fit on a solid Gold Sky Dweller?

I will when my Jubilee bracelet arrives at my RSC. I can either keep both or px the Oyster. I'm keeping both. Delivery to UK RSC is currently around 12 weeks.

You already have a watch with the Jubilee, so I wouldn't spend a bunch of money on one for the BLNR.

I have the oyster bracelet on my BLNR and a Jubilee on my DJ.

It's nice to have some variety.

I’d brush those PCL’s, too, as you indicated. Watch looks so much better imho without those shiny scratch magnets

I would get the jubilee…..I was sold the blnr on oyster but my AD says I cannot only order the bracelet…some real BS as I’ve seen many other members AD do it for them

Yes, get the jubliee bracelet as well. AND i woudl track down a 40mm sub glidelock bracelet for max versatility.

If budget is a concern, then go for the glidelock bracelet only.

Can't imagine a scenario where you regret having both (and the choice)

I went the “two bracelet” route once…as I’d assumed after the novelty wore off I couldn’t be bothered to change the bracelet and it collected dust in my draw until I sold the watch with both bracelets.

You need to decide if you have the patience or interest to be switching out bracelets before spending +2k. I didn’t.

I then bought the BLNR on oyster and BLRO on jubilee. I could switch bracelets, but my lack of interest and heavy rotation negates such frippery.

This makes a lot of sense to me for a two bracelet solution. I’m more on the fence about just having two and switching, even though I like the idea in theory very much.

But then, do I really want my wife wearing my GMT II?

If my wife can't destroy her Rolex, as much as she 'tries', then you should be safe. Sure, let her wear it

If you can find somebody to sell you a second bracelet that's one thing because the "rules" seem to be different according which dealer you ask.
