Got 'The Call'....
.from the 'Local AD'..ie; The Rolex Boutique /GWC in Vancouver on Alberni St...
No, not for a new watch... for for the 'XL' Link, the 1.5 TT Jubilee link. Ordered it July 26 and arrived from T.O. on the 19Aug. Finally got to go downtown to pick up. After a short wait outside, I was allowed into the store and the Rep offered to have it (the link) installed. - I did clarify that I needed 1 regular link removed and this new 'extended' link installed. He technician did the work behind closed doors. The watch hasn't been worn for about a week..and what I found somewhat interesting (and personally, of poor service), was that the tech didn't even bother to adjust the time and date on my Datejust. Just did what he had to do and that's all.. Really. !?!? Guess I didn't spend enough coin to warrant that...! Anyway... the 'new' link has made the fit a bit better...probably better when the weather cools down.. Worth the investment.

They really should throw in more links on the jubilee bracelets IMO.
Glad you got it sorted |
