My new Wednesday watch
Hi I have been searching around in my city/area in any reputable store that sell watches. Over the years I found it so important to be able to visualize and inspect a watch in person, put it on, stare at the dial, feel how weighty it is, how it sits on my wrist. Does it invoke an emotion.
I was not actively searching for a green dial, but I found a few options. What I did not think of taking into account that father's day is soon, and with a 30% sale, even that kind of saving is nothing to ignore. Over the years, I find the sweeping motion (automatic) a bit more appealing to me than a quartz movement. When I take into account that I will never end up getting the dial wet, or even run the risk of it, the only part I will sonic clean will be the bracelet, then the waterproofness + advertised depth will not be a factor in my watch purchasing decisions, this one just felt right to get today. I mark this as my Wednesday watch. It will compliment the colors I wear to work on a Wednesday. So with this in mind, will I end up with 7 watched in my collection ? most likely. I will be searching for a blue dial for Tuesdays. Either a white, silver, or white gold dial for Mondays. I already have the black dial covered. I am going to leave at least 2 slots open for a dial that I end up getting because it is something that captures the heart. I noticed that there's several watch brand names that are historic, that are well-known, yet the actual word does not even exist in any topics or discussed in this forum. I did go to the store the other day, and they had some great looking dials. I will discuss Rolex in a different thread. Something that is a different discussion to this one.
