Woke up at 3, took a pee and went back to bed with Subby!!!

Well, that may sound silly, but it's the absolute damn truth.

Woke up at 3 for a quickie...and whilst stumbling back to bed, thought to myself....what the heck? Let's see if what these tossers say about the ticking of the watch is true. So I took Subby back to bed with me.

For starters, I placed my wrist under my pillow....couldn't hear a damn thing.
Then I placed my hand a little bit far from my ear.....still nothing.
Finally shoved the watch dial flat against my ear....ahhhh....sweet music....chica-chica-chica-chica-chica-chica-chica.....brought back nostalgic memories of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers....oooooooh!!!

So how the hell you guys can hear your Rollies from a mile away is beyond me.

I think I must be the only one with the REAL one here, uh?

I'm SO resisting a temptation to make a "deaf and dumb" joke now.

JJ hasn't changed over the years!!! Waaay too much information, (but would we really want him any other way?)

Sorry to say this JJ, but you are describing a classic communication problem.... if you can't increase the power of the transmitter (the watch), reduce the transmission path (stick it up to your ear) and/or increase the sensitivity of the receiver (they make some lovely little devices these days )

Once again, this was far more than I needed to know.

Was this little diversion between sheep episodes? No, don't answer that. I really don't want to know the answer.

J.J.

I agree, this is WAY more information than I needed to know. Hopefully, this "relationship" won't go any further. I don't want you to post later in the week that now, after a midnight "interlude" you have to take the subby out to dinner.

JJ, they make these amazing little gadgets that custom fit right into your ear and have a little dial that you can turn up or down...

Maybe you should look into getting one next time you're at the doctors.

JJ, if you need to post these random thoughts please keep 'em to thoughts only.. I don't want any "new" images of you with Subby coming from these ideas...

Just a wee bit surprised (and disappointed) at some of your replies, guys!!

And if you're wondering what I'm referring to, then please take a closer look at some of the jokes, cartoons and links under the Jokes & Cartoons section.

Thanks - JJ

Now I get it, the local farmer caught you with his sheep and now you are his "Cup Cake" then? It's the only joke thread that seems to make sense with regards to this thread.

Next time maybe just PM your nocturnal urination habits to those who seem interested (just in case it's not clear, I am not interested).

Al, this thread had absolutely nothing to do with my nocturnal habits....that was just a passing reference to rhyme with the rest of the thread title. It really was about the watch ticking which you guys with Superman hearing seem to be picking up.

I don't why I'm always bashed around when I put in such a thread; but, by the same token, none of my good posts are ever acknowledged by you.

JJ's good posts? That's an oxymoron, in the same vein as military intelligence.

JJ, rather than tell us the reason WHY you got up, it's easier to say you listened to your watch ticking when it was quiet in the house.

BTW, I still say you need a hearing aid.
