Incoming, Tudor BB Pro!

Hi everyone, got the call a few days ago and finally had some time to enjoy my new addition. Really like the vintage vibe on this. The 39 fits well, first GMT watch I have owned so having fun playing around with that orange hand. I put my name down in July (no purchase history) and was told it would be a long while….. I think the Market for these is slowing down but I’m really glad I got it!

I'll ask.....

You've said you've had it bit, how is the thickness? I'm trying to decide between the BBGMT and the PRO. I 've heard the 41mm distributed the weight better and the PRO feels ....well....you've read the reviews and what not.

Such a great solid reference though. Enjoy it in health and safety!!! Congrats

The thickness is not bad, I have been wearing my Exp 36 and DJ 36 recently so I have been spoiled. This is a nice change of pace, feels rugged and substantial. I have tried the GMT 2x and the Rootbeer once. I really wanted them, but the 41 is too large lug to lug for me, and thick. For me the Pro was the one. At my AD on that day they had both on the bracelet. YMMY.

It’s really a fantastic watch and everything that Rolex was, without the baggage of the excessive bling with their offerings over the last 15-20 years or so and crown on the dial.

Read lots of reviews regarding thickness of the Pro. Generally once a reviewer actually has put one on the thickness becomes a non issue.

I have one and it’s interesting that it sits perfectly centered on my 7 in wrist. On the bracelet it weighs same as a Milgauss and centers better due to smaller case size and lug lengths. It’s slightly thinner than the Tudor GMT and wears smaller again due to smaller case dimensions. I found it wore better than my Rolex GMT weight distribution wise as well. A Daytona weighs about 3/4 of an ounce lighter but both watches wear similar on the wrist regardless of the Pros height. So I certainly wouldn’t hesitate over the height issue.

I have the pro and 58 and whilst the pro is thicker, you aren't aware when wearing the watch.

Congrats! It's a strange world when you have to wait for a Tudor. Looks like it was worth the wait!

Hopefully I'll get to see one of these one day.

It's roughly the same thickness as a BB Chrono and that wears unobtrusively IMO and does not feel overly thick, just my two cents.

Thanks to you and the others for the thickness take...they help.

I read too many reviews and some times I prefer the view of the average joe who has a little wear time under their belt.

I have a text in to my AD to at least try on the next PRO they get before they send it out the door.

I was lucky enough to get a Pro the first day they became available and it is one of my favorites. Congratulations on your purchase.
