It's Not About the Customer

It's time to accept that the tables have turned in the world of Rolex ADs. I'm now busy preparing a leather and gold-bound presentation folder containing an array of awesome gift options that my revered Rolex SA can select from. Each page is a grouping of several Rolex watches that are matched with a group of valuable gift options. For example: if my SA selects the "Weekend in Bangkok" gift pkg, then it comes with my choice of a PM DD or GMT. This concept properly puts the SA first, not the buyer, and it's time to realize that we've had it all wrong for such a long time. Another timely concept is having your SA's initials engraved on the case back, which could become a high value collector's item: "...as you can see, my Daytona came from Vladimir in Monaco."

Funniest thing about this is that the OP actually thinks this is clever.

It is and always has been about the customer in retail. It's just a tough market where demand so far exceeds the supply at the moment.

Might I respectably suggest that posts like yours above are more suited to the likes of so called social media, or the joke forum than in the Rolex watch forum.

Interesting concept. Kind of reminds me of the corporate service awards booklets. As the years of service increased the assortment of gifts got nicer.

A tequila tasting should at least give you the opportunity to buy a Submariner

I think Mr. Sgooter is on to something.

I can see Rolex SA’s jumping all over this.

I for one found it funny. Rolex is not about customers, customers are about rolex.
