Something Yellow 🙃

Started dating this nice SA in February. Told her my dream watch was a Silver motif dial DD40.
I stopped by at least once a month to say hi since it was along my regular way.
Our relationship developed to a trustworthy one as she realized am not a flipper.
Stopped by last month only to be told the silver motif dial was discontinued. Thought she was breaking up with me. To my surprise, couple of days ago, She called me and made me aware there was a lingering DD40 in silver dial at head office that cud be sent to their store. She would let me know the next. She finally called went into labor and gave birth to our first son today.

Hopefully, we have many more kids together : )

Why not just tell it normally? Does using "dating", "breaking up" & "baby" suppose to make it more interesting? Geez...this forum is becoming stooopider by the day.

Gosh, guys anything new vs "what's my grandfathers watch worth and how good is it as an investment" is fine with me. Sense of humor relieves stress.

OP was being funny. Glad you got what you wanted.

I would rather read a thread like this vs " Do Rolex people look down on those with TT watches " or " check out the clear bra on my bluesy ! "

He did? He didn’t finish the story. Did she ask for the watch? Did he buy it? Where are the pics?

You started dating in February, then 8 months later she gives birth to your son, although a month ago you thought she was breaking up with you. Yeah, sure.

Seems like some
People on here are uptight and clearly don’t have a sense of humour.
I mockingly equated the manner in which most romance their AD for a timepiece to dating.
It’s pretty much that when you think of how many come on here and talk about their ordeals with their different ADs. Some damn near begging and asskissing for a watch like AD is their wife/gf.
My story is supposed to be humorous.

Good to know. So can I ask why half the pointless threads that come up these days with redundant questions and crystal ball soothsayers still remain on here?
:)

Hahah. I appreciated the attempt to break up the mundane. Enjoyed story and take care of your first born.

That's probably the best combo for YG DD40. Apart from the hyped newly released green dial.
