Advice

Hello to all fellow members. I am seeking some of your opinions. I have been offered the watch below, which is the 36mm version.

My concerns are mainly about the markers, as I am thinking it is a watch for a lady. I am now collecting the rarer dialed PM pieces so it ticks the box, but I do always want to wear my watches.

How would you guys consider this watch? A ladies piece or unisex?

Thanks in advance, have a great weekend.

I think this reference is meant to be a unisex piece, but I wouldn't wear it personally, for the exact reason you are questioning it ... the diamond hour markers are not my style.

I have meteorite WG version with Baguettes, and I tend to agree with you. I’m thinking if I buy the 36mm one today I will be itching for the bigger brother.

If in doubt now, then its likely not right watch for you - pass and wait for the 40

Anysex. If you love it, buy it. If you don't, don't.

If you have to ask, you probably don't love it enough to buy it.

Agree with what others have said—just depends on who’s wearing it. 36mm is a standard size for men, a larger size for women. And while I’m in the camp that would never wear anything with diamonds or other sparkly jewels, there are plenty of men here who wear iced out Daytonas and Day-Dates. Go with your gut.

Do you prefer the 36, or that’s simply more available than the 40?

Personally, I consider 36 a size for anyone. That said, to me the diamond Roman’s tend to look more feminine than the single stones found on other models. Not sure why.

I should add: I don’t like diamonds on men’s watches regardless of style so my opinion is skewed a bit as a result.

There's truth in this.

It's not my cup of tea personally, I prefer the diamond baguets.

Looks unisex to me. If you like it, buy it and wear it. I don’t like the diamonds but not because they are feminine, it’s just a very personal preference.

Anysex.

Looks amazing in the flesh. Also the diamonds are way less noticeable than the fluted bezel in real life.

Unisex for sure. Did you ask for the 40 or the 36? Personal preference on size.

Looks a bit feminine to me. Not necessarily a bad thing, but I agree with your concerns.

They also detract from that stunning dial IMO.

The one with the baguette style indices looks amazing though.

Its 100% unisex...but i'd advice that you buy what you are comfortable with as it sounds like you have your doubts.

Well I went with an open mind, and it was not for me. I will wait for the 40mm and baguette. The size of it just felt small. Thanks for everyone’s opinion. True to one of the comments, if I had to ask it was not for me.

Enjoy the rest of the weekend all.

Yep.. if you have to ask….

But having said that, I dig it, but wouldn’t be my first choice. 36mm is a classic size, but there are better dials IMHO.

I don't like the markers. Could be worn by either a lady or a man. I would pass in the current configuration.
