New RG Addition

Hi all, about time for my first post as the forum has been invaluable for me navigating the craziness in the market these last couple of years as I looked to secure my second addition. 7 year gap between number 1 and number 2 but felt the right time and watch as I take good care of each piece so securing a new and unworn at the right price was key for me. I have always been a fan of Rose Gold pieces and the oysterflex strap combined with glidelock is seriously impressive for a ‘rubber’ option and complements the black face and bezel perfectly. Sign isn’t weight difference between the two and the size difference between 40mm and 36mm is not as significant as first thought, the Yacht-Master seems to hide its size pretty well and wears beautifully. Hopefully not as long before number 3 comes along!

Beautiful duo! Congrats! I just tried on that exact model of YM last week. Exhibition model. First time I had ever had one on the wrist and get a close up look. I like it! Very nice piece!

Thank you for the warm welcome all, the two pieces are certainly different enough to have separate uses. I will likely keep the DJ for formal events and make use of the YM’s dressed down appearance in the day but the RG would still catch the eye of those that know which drawn me to the piece in the first place.

I love both rose gold and the yachtmaster, wish that was available on a strap but it's still epic.

Nice pair! Don't see many Sundust dials here on TRF. Own the exact same reference. The YM on Oysterflex is great too!
