Any experience with Wilson & Son Jewelers?
Does anyone have any purchasing history with Wilson & Son Jewelers in Scarsdale, NY?
I go into the store on occasion when I am in the area, spoken to a few of the sales people and one of the owners, they take my info, and that is about it. I would call this operation a “jewelry” store rather than a “watch” store. They sell lots of diamonds, jewelry and of course Rolex. I get the feeling that in order to get a call to buy a watch from them you need to drop some serious coin on jewelry. Myself and my wife do not need any jewelry and I refuse to buy stuff I cannot use. So I have to be realistic, these guys are not going to be calling me. Time to move on. |

given the area and given the fact that you guys don’t need jewelery, i’d say moving on is a smart move.

I visited Wilson & Sons earlier this year looking to purchase my first Rolex watch...after a few visits & friendly text messages with my SA it was very clear to me that I needed to be more than a watch customer. I visited a nearby AD and walked out the same day with a beautiful 40mm Yacht master.

So an update for me to this thread: About 2 months ago I walked into Wilson & son Jewelers, spoke to the owner for a while and they offered me the Sub LV which I did post on a different thread. What the SA at the store told me is that the owner, Mike Wilson, controls the Rolex allocation and you should meet him. He is a really nice and interesting person so your time will be well spent.
