Great experience with AD & Datejust yellow gold for everyday

I visited an AD for the first time today and had a pleasant experience. The SA spent almost one full hour with me and brought all the watches I am interested for me to try on (GMT Master II and different models of DJ).

When asked whether it would help to buy other products/brands to get move up the waitlist, he said it is not necessary if what I want is Rolex. He also said he does not encourage buying something I don't want which I was very impressed.

I put an order in for DJ 36 jubilee bracelet / oyster steel and yellow gold. Reference 126233. I wonder if this can be an every day's watch - i.e. to wear to work and for casual wear with jeans and T-Shirt. I am a mid-manager, 39 turning 40.

I feel that it may come across as too flashy and in your face.

Thank you!
