Jubilee BLRO vs Oyster BLRO

I think my patience has worn thin, been trying to buy a GMT since 2017 from an AD and gotten nowhere. I’ve lost hope so I’m tired of waiting and can’t decide between the two.

2018 Complete set on Jubilee vs 2022 Complete set on Oyster, 2018 is $1000 cheaper than the 2022.

I'm a fan of the Jubilee on any GMT over the oyster (which is on every Rolex).

Also, totally get your frustration.

Wouldn't worry about the year if it's a full set, and condition is like new.

Of course get the 2022 for $1000 more. You’re going to get almost the full Rolex warranty on that - which is a necessity incase you encounter the 32** movement issues. You can always acquire a jubilee bracelet for it

Looks: Oyster (non-PCL). Jubilee is a bit too flashy.

Final verdict: Comfort wins out; the jubilee is just that much more comfortable.

The jubilee isn’t just the most comfortable Rolex bracelet design, it also elegantly catches the eye especially when exposed to daylight all while remaining robust in its current iteration due to modern construction.

Me personally would always recommend the Jubilee over the oyster whenever it’s an option.

Most people "think" they like the #126710BLRO on jubilee because for 4 years that's all they saw and have gotten used to seeing it that way.

The simple fact that Rolex saved the oyster bracelet for the 126719BLRO white gold "Pepsi," for 4 years, proves which bracelet is the better choice: Oyster.

That being said, both bracelets are beautiful.

For transparency:
I have the 126710BLRO on oyster bracelet, but I do plan on buying the jubilee bracelet to have the option of swapping out depending on the occasion or simply because the BLRO looks good either way.

if you like a sporty look intended for the professional models, go for the Oyster bracelet....

if you prefer a more vintage look and care about comfort, go for the Jubilee bracelet...

If it were me, I would buy the 2018 BLRO on jubilee and purchase the oyster bracelet separately.

I much prefer the jubilee on the BLRO so I’d be looking at that, pending that the condition of the two watches are the same. If the oyster condition is better I’d buy that and then purchase the jubilee bracelet separately from the AD.

The good news is you can’t go wrong and can buy either bracelet in the future.

Much prefer the Jubilee on the Pepsi BLRO. Just looks the total package to my eyes. Oyster still nice of course but Jubilee takes it.

Quite right to go grey and buy now, your AD may never call. I’ve been on the BLRO list since March 2018, doubtful I’ll ever get that call. I bought it grey back in 2020 and never looked back.

You really can't go wrong. I'd get the newer on Oyster and add the jubilee bracelet to have the option.

I prefer the look of the Oyster but I prefer the comfort of the Jubilee. You do you.

Given the reliability issues reported with the movement I would be inclined to buy one with a long original warranty.

If I had an oyster bracelet professional model in the lineup already, I’d go jubilee. If I had a jubilee model in the lineup already, I go oyster.

Buying a jubilee bracelet would be great but sounds just as impossible as buying the dang watch.

I guess I'm the contrarian here.

I've had both the jubilee and oyster bracelets on my GMTs, and don't notice any difference in comfort between the two; they both feel great, and as far as looks are concerned, I prefer oyster over jubilee on any Rolex reference.

I think for $1k more if they both had the same bracelet I would go for the 2022. I prefer the Jubilee on the BLRO so that makes it a little tougher. Nevertheless I would still go 2022. Age trumps the bracelet. You can always get a jubilee bracelet later.

Pulled the trigger on the “new in box” with some stickers still on it the oyster bracelet. Put me in the camp that finally paid over msrp because of AD shenanigans. This is my grail watch though!
