Lazy Sellers.....are the pits

How many times have you spent months looking for a watch and then after searching and searching you come across one that looks just like what you have been dreaming about and you are almost deliriously besotted with desire.

So you call the seller.....answering machine.

You email the seller......no response, or 'yeah I've got lots of that model'.

You damn near go out of your brain to get any kind of reply for day after day.......

Then the seller tells you....."That one has been sold.".....but I've got a couple of others of the same model....(which you know are nothing like the quality, condition, price and vintage of the one that you spent hours/days just wanting to buy).

Man I am

Why can't the seller just say "SOLD" on the darn sale, how difficult is that!!!!!!

I fully understand the frustrations, I get it all the time with certain suppliers here in Sydney for parts, they must be that loaded they don't care about loosing a top customer

Don't worry, we can send the heavy mob around

Hey where is your avatar these days? you incognito :-)

I have had the same frustrations, no response to calls or emails. To me that is just a common courtesy, which to some has just gone out the window

Bait and switch is a well known tactic used by unscrupulous sellers.

They show a great item for sale: condition, price etc.

So you enquire about it......waiting, waiting for the reply.

Then the response is something along the lines of: "Well we just sold that one, but we have several others just as good."

Invariably the ones "Just as good" are nowhere near and nothing like the one first sighted.

Been looking for quite a while (months) but in no hurry.

If the right one comes along that would be just fine, if not then it's just a matter of time.

Actually I am under quite a bit of pressure at work now so I feel that hunting can be a bit of an undesirable distraction and when you find one and it does not work out that is pretty stressful and frustrating and I really don't have a high threshold for that at the moment.
