Had to go grey. Just could not wait any longer!

As much as I hate to have gone grey and paid over retail, I couldn’t stop looking and lusting after after the Pepsi. Now it will be a while until my next and final Rolex which is the Daytona Panda. My AD tells me that is about a 5 year wait.

My favorite Rolex! Grey or not, the pain of paying over retail will dull in time. Congrats! Looks great on you!

It's a keeper. Where you bought is a non-issue and you have it on your wrist.

Is that the same AD that didn't get you the Pepsi? so you had to go grey?? You better go grey for your Daytona because that AD is just stringing you along.

Same for me. After 18 months of waiting, and with a pretty lengthy purchase history, I went to the secondary market. Took a bigger bite, but I had the exact watch I wanted sized and all within a few days. No more patience for this idiotic waiting game.

Good move going grey, it’s a great watch. If it’s the same AD that told you 5 years for the Daytona you may want to consider going grey for that watch as well. Chances are they’re stringing you along

Congratulations! Long term, count the memories not the calories, or in this case the % over RRP.
