Tis the season - Anyone planning on Rolex for Xmas?

Indeed, Tis the season. Is anyone planning on gifting themselves or loved ones a Rolex this holiday season? If so, which are you planning on buying and for whom?

This thread could inspire others (even me) with gift ideas.

A very Merry Christmas to all who celebrate over the holidays.

I just typed up a long post about a Christmas gift for my wife. I added some photos and TRF said it needs to be reviewed by moderators before it will show.

Wife waiting on her 36 Tif dial. Would be EPIC to get the call before Xmas.

Nothing for me that I'm aware of :(

I tried to buy my lady a turquoise or pink OP 31 but AD said likely disco as they haven't got one for a bit. Sad we can't even buy these things as gifts

Ok, sorry for the confusion.

I just picked up a DJ36 Wimbledon for my wife for Xmas as a walk in to a new AD today. It’s my second choice for her as I am also on multiple lists for an OP31 or 36 Tiffany but I’m not optimistic it’s going to happen before Christmas.

The Wimbledon is stunning. It sounds to me like she’ll love it

Congrats on getting it.

I agree. But aren’t unworn variants of those hovering around retail of late?

I hadn't planned on it, but... walked into the local store last weekend and they had a DJ41 all stainless in stock, so I bought it. I shoulda wrapped it and waiting until Christmas to open it, but, that didn't work out

I would love to celebrate the season with a VTNR GMT/Sprite! I have been asking "Santa" (my AD) for one since earlier this year. Hopefully "Santa" will call me this month! Lol.

I got the call for a Pepsi mid November shortly after expressing interest ( wasn't expecting the call so soon but was ready to jump on it) and have still been in the honeymoon phase with my Sub I received back in the summer. So as a little To:me From: me gift this year, the Pepsi is all wrapped up. Just trying to decide if I want to open it Xmas morning or late Xmas eve with a nice whiskey....Decisions, decisions...

31mm mint green DJ as a (belated) push present, picked up today. Stunning. Everything crossed for a matching 41mm

Very nice! A big congrats! Sub and a Pepsi.....what a great duo. I'm sure you'll be looking forward to, and waking up early like a child on Xmas morning!

Congrats! I love the mint dial. On Jubilee too.....my #1 favorite bracelet! I finally saw a mint dial in person earlier this year, and I have to say that pictures really do not do it justice. If one popped up at my AD in 41mm, I'd definitely swoop it up as well. Enjoy that beautiful piece!

Thank you. Tried the 41 on in Italy. Couldn’t convince them to sell the exhibition only piece. Beautiful.

Hoping for a Z-blue Milgauss. I’m ready when the AD is. But I think it is important to highlight how grateful we are to be in these positions.
