Perhaps wait 1-2 weeks until they announce the new 30th anniversary editions?

Your profile says that you’re in the UK, the people at AP House in London are great to deal with so I wouldn’t rule out getting allocated a watch from them just because you don’t have history with them.

down in london next week so maybe i’ll call in. can actually get a 43 cheaper preowned now. it’s just whether the old ceramic is a better bet

The previous 44mm ceramic versions are really impressive pieces, including the one at the top of your post. They look and feel great. The big questions (besides price) are how does a 44mm fit your wrist, and are there newer 43mm ceramic versions about to be released.

I have the nee 43mm and have never tried the first or last ones. I’m a bigger guy with 7.75” wrists and it wears really well - great, relatively sturdy, watch (less than my DSSD but more than my ROC). Even better when you get the deployment clasp instead of the tang buckle!
I’m actually about to sell mine lol

I love the new 43 in titanium/ceramic, been wearing mine a lot since I bought it. 44 in your post is also great so you can't go wrong.

...unless you have 6" wrists, in which case you'll look like you're wearing your dad's watch. The 44mm ROOs are massive. If they do fit, the black 26405CE in the first picture is awesome (as is it's grey CE counterpart). I still like the old sub dial layout more than the more conventional new one on the 43mm ROOs.

Excited about the releases coming this week - a simple re-edition of the 26405CE in 43mm would be great already.

Haven't seen any leaks, but signs point to the first 30th ROO. Many people were told about a release end of this week (Thu or Fri).

AP partyline (which I've heard from 3 or 4 different boutiques) is that that new releases will be absolutely awesome and scramble everybody's wishlists.

I'd really recommend seeing these pieces in person if at all possible

The first model especially, you need to feel out how the rose gold accents go with the rest of the watch. In theory on paper the first model could be an absolute killer piece, but you need it on the wrist to decide for certain

The top pic of the ceramic 44 with RG/blue is phenomenal and I personally much prefer it over the 43mm current variants. I wear my 44 frequently and traded my 43 away. The Black ceramic with WG dials is much less in demand and therefore much cheaper currently by $8-10k over the RG/Blue hands dial

:))) You said it perfectly. I’ve found that select new releases make me run a mental comparison against my wishlist, but in most cases fizzle out quickly because of material, size, or price. But I’m almost certain there will be at least 2-3 upcoming ROOs that will make my head spin with possibilities. I’m sure I won’t be the only one.

Try the 44mm on the wrist. The new 43mm ones are much more comfortable.

Are they still going to be 43/44mm?

Don’t know, sorry. Just heard that the new releases will be incredible. Also, be on the lookout for high complications that challenge PP and VC.

Totally agree with Ash here

But do make sure you call ahead to AP House as it's by appointment only there Jon. Good luck and let us know how you get on.

I had the 26405ce (blue tipped) one. Gorgeous watch, as evident from J.T.'s photo above.

JT, that is straight up mean and dangerous to be posting an amazing piece like this here.
I tried requesting this one (and then the all-ceramic grey/blue), but they were either very limited production or I was/am too low priority
Hard to beat these 44mm ROOs.

I personally prefer the registers at 6,9,& 12. Makes it just different enough. My eyes are in one in the future.
