It's a less popular model but still plenty popular and discussed here quite a bit. I personally love the rhodium.

I love the OG Platinum dial/bezel version. Always sad they killed it.

It gets love but not as much love. Because it’s not as popular.

I don't know about most people, but my YM is my fav watch in my collection and from the entire current AD Rolex lineup. I am absolutely in love with it

Great looking watch but the platinum bezel is fragile and can tend to have a stained look over time. If they changed it to ceramic I think the YM would be way more popular.

Really like mine; probably my most comfortable watch on the wrist.

Plenty of love here, it's the next reference I'm trying to get from my AD.

If they replaced the bezel with fluted or smooth and gave it more bracelet and dial options I'd like it.

The Falcon's eye is the only one I think looks pretty good because they blacked out all the bad parts.

I have a small wrist and for me at least, it's by far the most comfortable one I've tried on (only one that came close was the daytona), also this case hugs the wrist soo well. I find the weight is also very well balanced.

If it is so unloved, why does it still have a premium gray to MSRP plus tax. I am on AD list for one, it will be about a year to get it. It is an extremely comfortable watch to wear.

I think the Yachtmaster II is pretty cool.

I have the sunburst blue and arguably the most comfortable Rolex professional model to wear and most importantly the best looking. I am fortunate to have a few so tend to only wear it on special occasion as to no scratch it !

As an owner of a YM myself, I don't mind it to be this way. It's just one of those things, if you know you know

I suspect it does not get attention simply because it never became iconic like the daytona, sub etc. I wonder how many advertising campaigns it has been the center of for Rolex.

But honestly, who cares? Love my rosegold YM on OF. If anything, its lack of popularity makes me love it more.

It’s a nice looking watch and I quite like the colour schemes but, yeah, I probably wouldn’t buy one. There’s too many iconic watches or watches with history or real purpose in the catalogue so, if others are like me, it’s probably far enough down their wish-list that it doesn’t feature much in their thinking.

The yachtmaster seems like a more expensive less waterproof sub with a slightly odd bezel and not much history so it’s hard to know why I’d ever pick it unless I just happened to love the look of it. (Or I already owned everything else!)

When I tried one on in my AD I was very impressed with how it looked and felt. Photos never seem to capture just how good it looks.

It's probably still my favourite Rolex for the amazing dial (especially in the sun) and the super comfortable fit on wrist. It's a gem.

Certainly the most misspelled model in the Rolex lineup, I'd say.

Nice thing about the 40mm Yacht Master, you don’t see two in a room. Never seen another one at a party. Seen plenty of Daytonas and Submariners. I was told they manufacture way less than the other two mentioned, but the demand isn’t as strong. It all comes down to buy what you enjoy.
