Rolex passport inside the box, what for?
Hi all,
I came across a few rolex boxes with a kind of slot in them to apparently slide a passport holder inside. I have seen some full sets with a plastic holder for the punched papers and translation booklet, and that passport holder purposelessly being part of the set. Was that passport holder used to put the booklets inside? Or a kind of gift for the owner when purchasing the watch? |

The passport holder was a bonus or a gift that came with the box set. I've owned five or six complete sets that came with the original passport holder.

Thanks!
In what usually were the papers in your sets if not in that passport holder? |

I don't recall but probably in the vinyl folio which fits inside the box.
