Arrived! 2nd PM Piece

Hello all! It has been a whirlwind Rolex journey for me over the past 3 months. Began with my first ever piece the JC Deepsea and TT Daytona in Dec.

Managed to find a brand new GMT Meteorite in Jan which i could not pass up on, so i traded in both the JC and TT Daytona for it and added some cash.

Ever since i got the WG GMT, the PM bug hit hard and i wanted to finish the collection with the trio of GMT, Sub and Daytona all in PM. Ideally also in WG,RG,YG. So i had the WG model nailed, and it was time to add the other 2 pieces in. The question was in what order?

Even though i personally like the Daytona more, i decided to go for the 126618LB first. I got it grey and paid just a hair bit below retail for a brand new piece. Main reason for this decision was that over the past month, the daytona prices have started to go up again (around 7-8%) on average. So i decided to get the sub first as at least i knew that from a financial standpoint, it probably made a little more sense. Am also holding out for W&W to see if there are any interesting Daytonas coming out. Hopefully one with a ceramic bezel on a bracelet.

Heres a pic of the 2 pieces i got, and hopefully ill be able to complete the trinity soon. On a side note, IF a a daytona with a ceramic bezel appears in 2023, what do you think will happen to the prices of existing PM daytonas? Drop due to the ceramic being more desirable? Or increase due to rarity? Love to hear your thoughts.

yes! i was considering going for this model first or the rose gold with diamond markers, but wanted to see if anything new will appear in a months time. very happy with the current iteration of the sub as it is. would love a ceramic bezel on the daytona
