Don't you just love this time of year?

-"It's a leak!"
-"No it's not!!"
-"Rolex would NEVER release something like that, trust me..."
-"100% sure they're discontinuing this model, mark my words!"

In all seriousness, it is a great time to be on TRF because of all the levels of engagement. The speculation, the excitement - who can resist Watches and Wonders (aka the artist formerly known as Baselworld...in another life).

It's always funny when people get annoyed at these threads and guesses - aren't we all WIS' and why we're here?

My Rolex pic for tribute!

It's more interesting than most other times of the year. I prefer watching the ncaa bball tournament more.

Don’t forget that Rolex is increasing the Daytona to a 42mm and adding a date…..

Very true...it's a great time of year. It's like the Holiday season for watch enthusiasts...the anticipation of what's under this year's tree.

And a power reserve indicator on the dial.

I saw a picture on Instagram and some guy named John on YouTube confirmed it, so you can be a 100% certain it’s happening.

Hopefully they get rid of the chrono and replace it with a useful complication, too!

It's more deja vu than anything. Mostly the same predictions and wants year after year. But this year it's different, this year it's really happening. Again.

It's all happening....

The excitement is great, and bodes well for the mechanical timepiece industry. It's when there's no buzz that Switzerland should all be very worried.

Always interesting to see the watch shows and what leads up to them. It is also fun to see the releases and think about what to add.

I would LOVE to see the integrated bracelet come back, even as an Oysterquartz. Welcome back to the Texan, anyone?!

Buzzing times indeed, even if it doesn't end up in a new addition to the collection. It's always fun to see the leaks, the teaser guessing game and then the confirmed new releases. I love this time of the year.

Yes it’s a fantastic time to be a WIS.

I do miss the build up to Basil World and Jocke’s epic reviews
