YM42 Oysterflex

Anyone had any experiences recently with the wait time for a replacement OF bracelet? I’ve been waiting over 2 months staring at my watch because I need a size D to get the correct fit.

That’s pretty frustrating… AD purchase?

Yes AD purchase from one of the largest retailers - they even comped it but at this point $290 is a small price to pay.

Keep your eyes on Chrono24. And here. I've managed to buy 5 OF lengths for a total of $775. You gotta snap'em up though. Heck, I got a D and two F's for $250. I figured even if it turned out to be fraud it wouldn't be a huge loss. Turned out to be a well known horologist selling them, and they are legit. Way faster than going through dealers anyway.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like any D's for YM42 are available right now:

Thanks Newt and bullies! I wasn't aware of the Chrono24 marketplace.

I would be interested to know what Oysterflex segments came on your watch? I got one recently with "F" pieces on both sides, but saw one at an AD with an "E" and an "F".

Also, there is a "D" on Chrono24 right now. It would ship out of Cyprus but at least it is an option.

I made a mistake, the "D" on Chrono is for a Skydweller (22mm)

Will the Sky Dweller OF fit YM42?
I thought SD was 22mm and YM42 was 21
I think this is the one you're talking about

Thanks! I see the used D & F combo out of Germany - the one thing holding me back is "used" but I'm considering it!

Make sure your AD knows. Mine swapped one out for me for free after 3 months of waiting

Let’s see a pic. Love the 42. I have the 40 but really want a 42. My 40 has sentimental value so I can’t trade and it seems a bit redundant
